Is your bank a target for a renowned banking Trojan?

Hi malware fighters,

Security firm Trusteer recently launched their “Attack Trace” search engine, that will have banks search to see with several Trojans whether they are a target themselves.
The search engine has information on three renowned Trojans; Silentbanker, WSNPOEM/Zeus/PRG/Zbot and Sinowal. For other malware to look through you have to file a request. When active on a system Trojans can hijack all HTTP or HTTPS traffic unseen, and manipulate so both bank and user are not aware this is going on. Link to the search engine.

Hi…

I’m not sure I quite understand how to do this. Every website I type in, I get this message… ???

"We checked the website ‘(any website)’ against 3 malware variants and found that the following variants capture and send credentials while users log onto this website.

Search term not found"

Why isn’t anything found? Also, what is actually being sent to these sites from Trusteer?

Best Regards…

Hello ardvark,

It is for your local bank and financial institutions to search there, not you,
