I just noticed something about the PM system here and the search engine for the term “Bcc” returned tons of threads, but I couldn’t find one related to my question. If I missed it, please accept an apology.
I always thought that Bcc was a way to hide from those entered in the ‘To: block’ who received a message other than those entered into the ‘To: block’. Did I phrase that correctly?
Anyway, just now I entered myself in the Bcc block when I sent a PM out just to check and I see in the message sent to me that I can view who was entered into the ‘To: block’.
So when did Bcc take on the same function as Cc? Or is this something just related to this forum software?
If you receive a Bcc: you still see the To: addresses but if you receive a To: you can’t see the Bcc: addresses… That’s normal.

I sure had that wrong, didn’t I? And all these years I thought Bcc folks couldn’t see “To:” or “Cc” folks! Some reason I never thought to study that issue or test it. That Wiki page is rather clear, though.
My goodness, I shudder to think how many times I must have screwed that up in the past. Learn something new every day.
