This same thing is happening to me just now aswell, its only on some stream for me which is also weird - i am assuming its depending on which Twitch server the streamer is using

Same problem here. This problem is reported on many reddit sites. AVG users have also reported this issue. As far as I know, Avast and AVG use the same virus database. The problem must be on the backend / database side. Any official information from devs @Asyn?

Any way to add twitch to exclusions to avoid this? I already tried adding the url in Avast but it still keeps blocking some channels on twitch, very annoying.

I note uBlock Origin did a patch to fix problem with twitch.tv in 1.38.6

I have ublock but it’s not dojng anything for me regarding twitch and Avast.

There was a bug in uBO. Update to the latest version.

Here just got another one today on a channel I follow, getting more and more frustrating. Strange yesterday I only saw the warning inside Avast when I opened the program, and then there was a blue dot on the Avast tray icon indicating there was something there. But today I got the popup window with sound and everything, not sure how it changed like that from last night. I turned off the sounds now.

Another thing I find strange is when I use epic privacy browser routing through USA proxy I don’t get blocked. So 'ill have to use this for now for those that are blocked, I hope it gets fixed soon though cause I prefere to use my main browser chrome.

Updated to latest uBO, didnt help or fix the problem, I still get blocked by Avast on some twitch channels.

Are there really no working way to add twitch to exlusions in Avast? If I turn off all shields I get in but thats not a good solution …

Can you tell me if there is a way to add twitch to exclusion so it wont block certain channels? If not possible let me know and I will look for another AV. Avast have a section where I can add websites but seems it doesnt work with twitch.

Many have already reported these FP from twitch months ago and nothing has been done, so im not going to report them cause they don’t seem to do anything about it.

Also my question to you is still can we add twitch to exclusions or not? I tried but it’s not helping with anything, what is the point having the add to exclusion option if it doesnt work for the websites we add?
