I found the plugin 8.0.1497 prevents to show the text in the “Delete bookmark” button in the popup that prompts when I click the “Edit (existing) bookmark” yellow star.
XP-SP3, GeForce4 4200ti (nv25) with microsoft driver.
Is there a workaround other than disabling the plugin?

Is your GeForce driver up-to-date? About the plugin did you try to uninstall and reinstall avast 8? Update to avast 2014 and i think this problem will be resolved.
Driver up to date by windows update. Avast 2014 installed => issue remains.
Is Nvidia GeForce Experience installed in your computer? That’s how I keep my Nvidia GeForce GT 630M up-to-date. As for Avast 2014 issue trying uninstalling it again, use avast uninstall utility, and reinstall it again? I hope this helps?
It’s not a GPU driver issue. I have the exact same problem, and have had it on two separate AMD GPUs (one 6970 and the other a 7950) across multiple driver sets. (And yes, I always keep my GPU drivers up to date.) If I disable the Avast FF plugin, my “delete bookmark” text comes back. Otherwise, it’s just a blank button.
This is on Avast 8…I’m steering clear of Avast 2014 until some of its thornier issues are sorted out.
