Hi All

Issue on Mom’s Windows 10 Pro 64bit system, already done the Avast removal/clean install rountine, still get sometimes download has corrupted unless I disable Avast prior to doing the download

Any thoughts what this could be? should I reset Microsoft Edge or Chrome? I cleaned the Cache of both browsers already

Hello Patrick2,

does this issue occur on the same files, or is it just random? If there is some file which is always downloaded corrupted, could you give me link on it?

Well Only Happens on the One System, have ran SFC /scannow

very random in files it happens on

Sometimes happens when i update Itunes with Apple Software update

Happened before on Macrium reflect downloads, Windows 10 ISO File for Fall Creators, only happens on that one system though, I can check the system again,and also repair/reset Microsoft Edge to see if that makes a difference, not fully sure it’s Avast causing it or not, but i haven’t removed Avast and trusted Defender to temporary protect it yet, til i tried everything else first
