Issue with Microsoft Store

Hi all I’m having problems with my Microsoft Store, I can t update my apps as the update box for my apps doesn’t work anymore, I’ve asked a question in my Microsoft community, they have told me to run the troubleshooter for Microsoft Store, which didn’t help, they also told me to try the reset for Microsoft Store, also didn’t work and they also told me turn off my Avast as that blocks certain stuff, so I turned off all shields to try it and that didn’t work, I don’t know what else to try as I’m lost to what is causing the issue, is there anything else I could turn off within Avast that could be causing the issue with my Microsoft Store? I did get a update with my Avast last week which I had to perform a restart after downloading and installing.

does it work if you uninstall avast?

I had an Asus Win10 laptop last week that was acting strangely - Windows Store wouldn’t allow downloads - Windows Settings wouldn’t open - CD/DVD drive wasn’t recognised etc, eventually…after many hours of researching I found the AMD Chipset required an update to the latest version and then everything functioned as normal.

I don’t really want to uninstall it and reinstall Avast just in case it isn’t Avast and will have done all that for nothing, its one of the two, it either happened after I updated my Microsoft Store last week or the update to my Avast, also last week.

Btw i’ll keep you informed if I sort it, gonna give it another hour then pack up and give it another go tomorrow.
