I am having an issue where multiple (.exe) are running when I go to one site on line. I am using the Avast SafeZone which you provided. It worked wonderful, but now it is slow and unresponsive at times. I do have screen shots of what I am asking about if there is a way to post them to you. I will tell you up front, I am a non technology user of these computers. I guess one could say I am computer blind as to the workings of them. I guess what my question is, why do some web pages use so much in kilobytes when program is so small? As an example, an Avast .exe is written using 600+ bytes and shows up as using 400,000 K? Then listed is several using anywhere from 600 bytes to the 400,000 K bytes? I do not understand. Is it because I use an older Dell Inspiron 2200 with Win 7 installed on it? This Laptop has the dual 1.40 G processor and maxed at 1.25 Gig RAM.
Like I have said, I am blind to the tech side of computers. Any help would be thankful. Sorry for the pradiling on of this problem, but I cannot wrap my mind around why. Also I feel the need to tell you that this is the same issue I had with using IE, Opera, and Chrome. I have also down loaded Avant browser to try if I cannot get this worked out. But I do hope this can be worked out. I do enjoy SafeZone when it works like it did when I first installed it.
