Issue with tray icon appearing even when disabled in Settings.

So I am having an issue in Avast free anti-virus as to the most recent program update. Everytime I restart my pc, the tray icon appears, even though I have it set in notifications to not show the tray icon. In order to get rid of it, I have to open avast, go to notifcations, check mark to show it (which does nothing as its already there when it shouldn’t be) then uncheck it to finally get it to go away. This issue while it seems minor is extremely annoying. The Problem is next time I reboot, it will be in the tray again, and i’ll have to repeat the above steps every single time I restart/turn on my pc. Its like its not saving the setting or ignoring it entirely for some reason. I do have silent mode set, but thats never caused a problem before, and i’ve tried turning it off to see if it still causes the tray icon issue and it happens regardless.

Any help or hints on how I can fix this as its getting really aggravating having to do this everytime I turn the pc on. It was fine till a recent program update.

Thank you. Since Avast knows about it, it’ll be fixed.

You’re welcome.
