Issues with Avast Blocking Trusted Application After Recent Update

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with Avast after the recent update (version 21.5.2470). Avast is suddenly blocking a trusted application that I’ve been using for years without any problems. The application is a productivity tool called “WorkMaster Pro” that I rely on daily for my job.

Here’s what’s happening:

  1. When I try to launch “WorkMaster Pro,” Avast immediately flags it as a threat and moves it to quarantine.
  2. I’ve tried restoring the application from quarantine, but it gets blocked again as soon as I try to open it.
  3. Adding the application to the exceptions list doesn’t seem to work either. Avast still blocks it despite being on the whitelist.
  4. I’ve also tried reinstalling both Avast and “WorkMaster Pro,” but the issue persists.
    Has anyone else encountered a similar problem with trusted applications being blocked after the latest Avast update? If so, how did you resolve it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Avast Free AV and I assume Avast Premium AV latest version is 24.5.6116 (build 24.5.9153.839)
