Issues with Endpoint Protection Suite

We were scheduled for a renewal, and upgraded to Endpoint Protection Suit w/ 21 licenses.
(We were 1 day from expiring and at the time was still waiting for authorization to make the purchase.)

I’m having 2 issues one seems to be a active problem???

Old Avast versions were uninstalled, I attempted to install the small office suite, however it wouldn’t work with our SQL version. This was uninstalled and EAS console was installed (oddly enough it took the trial license).

(Issue 1) EAS was setup and a managed client was installed on the same server. I experienced issues with Avast indicating it wasn’t protected (Yellow Triangle) and the real-time shields were reported being off. However when I reviewed everything installed was on (Share point and Exchange were not installed).

Thinking this was due to EAS being on the same server, I uninstalled the managed client and installed the un-managed client with no change.
And thought that perhaps it may have something to due with it running on a Trial License. (See issue 2)

Managed client installs seem work fine on the PC’s (Win XP - Windows 7)

Approval came this morning and the licenses were ordered.

(Issue 2) When attempting to apply the license to EAS I consistently get “The license file is invalid!”
However when applied to the un-managed client on the same server, it’s accepted

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

after installing a client, shields won’t be active and license file won’t be updated for a short time. after a couple of minutes, everything will be fine. i guess this is because of the client communicating with the server. after communication is successful shields would be on and the license file would be updated.

It’s been almost 2 weeks, that’s not it
