Issues With Win:32Banker.LDK [Trj]

Recently i ran a custom scan with Avast, to find the evil Trojan, Win:32Banker had been found in my system. Although, when i had tried to remove the trojan, the apply button was gray. (I know that Avast dosent help with memory issues… but a trojan wouldnt really be a memory issue, right?) I finished a scan just a half an hour before the scan that found win:32Banker appeared, and everything had been okay. I think i got the trj from a game-server, but i am not sure. I then looked all over the internet for ways to remove the virus, but alas, none have been successful. The weird part about it, is that after ANOTHER scan right after Avast found Win32:Banker.LDK in my system, the trojan wasnt found at all. I used the same scan, too. Although Avast never told me it removed the trojan, or did anything to it… so i have no clue why the trojan isnt being detected by avast anymore. If anyone knows why avast isnt finding this torjan again in scan, please tell me. Or, if you know of ways to remove Win32Banker, please reply below, as i really need help removing this thing from my system. Thanks for taking you time to read this issue of mine.

Did you do a memory custom scan ?

Yes, i had ran a memory custom scan.

can you attach or write down the scan result… the full name/location of what was detected

A screenshot would be better as it will show which security programme generated it

I dont have the exact result, or a screenshot because i tried doing a fresh-install with Avast, to see if i could have the threat be detected again, or not. Sorry…
Although, i do remember a few things:
1.The Area It Was Located some-where in c:/users/“username.”
2.The file name was Win32:Banker.LDK (Described By Avast.)
3.When i looked for more info, it said something about ‘4408 javaw’ Which dosent make complete sense because javas folder is in program files, not users.
4.It was listed as a trojan
5. Avast listed the trojan as a severe threat.
6. I couldnt apply anything onto the trojan. (move to chest, delete , ect.)
Sorry i really cant say much more.
Im still not honestly sure if i have it since Avast dosent find it in scan anymore. Although, Avast never said it had removed the trojan.
If you want me to list of my processes list i can do that, or maybe the download/server ip i went to near when i found the trojan through an avast scan.
Thanks for your help.

if the file was detected as process (number) memoryblock (number). then it is not a file....but a process so not something that can be deleted/moved hence button is gray

anyway dont use the “scan memory” setting as it give some veird scan results

memory scan / detection in memory are the second most asked question in the forum so lots of info if you search

Alrighty Then.
Thanks for your help, … ive looked at some of those types of forums but none of them were related to the trojan, so i didnt think do hard about them.
If i have behavior issues, or another scan result of the trojan with more info, ill provide it asap.

I have another question, and im posting this question here because i found an actual trojan with avast (found after a update) that was first in my computer the exact time i found out about win:32banker:

I just wondered if you should delete any files associated with the “windows” folder. I dont want to delete anything key to my operating system, but im not sure if avast would do that.
I have a screen-shot of what i found this time, to.

Thank you.

It is a windows error report that avast has latched onto so it may well be a FP
