First let me say I’ve been a AVAST fan for a long time but just switched my work from AVAST PRO to the AVAST BUSINESS product. I couldn’t be more disappointed.
Issue #1. From the NETWORK view right clicking on the computer select the computer next to it and sometimes 2 places to the right away (okay small bug… easy fix).
Issue #2. Computers loaded with the business version aren’t showing up in the management screen. (Not sure how to fix that)
Issue #3. Avast can’t convert any of my multiple year Pro licenses to business licenses.
I was going to call for support only to find that Support isn’t for business class users. Or at least that’s what it states on the support page “*Excludes avast! Business Products”
So WHY did I pay more money for this product? Business users should have some sort of VIP status since they are paying a higher rate.
I am very sorry to say I have to agree. I took Trend Micro off our network and converted to BPP in early December and have nothing but problems. BPP reports virus but does nothing to clean or take them off our corporate network, servers, and systems. I have posted the problem here and written direct e-mails to the moderators. 45 days later I still have the problems and they are growing. I am about to toss Avast out and go back to Trend Micro…
I have personally used avast since 1999 and never had a virus on my personal computers. I have recommended Avast to hundreds of friends. But I am totally disappointed in BPP and Avast’s support of the product which is as far as I can tell NON-EXIATANT.
I hope someone wakes up and realizes Business’s need Professional, Competent, and Timely Support!!
