why does avast completely screw up itunes from working properly?

i have 41 days left of subscription and i’m very tempted to switch to another company

windows 7 x64, avast internet security latest version

if i disable the firewall, it works, if i enable, itunes crashes.

How can i fix this??

p.s searching through the forum, this seems like a common fault since internet security 5 ::slight_smile:

Because it does not take any effort, it’s already screwed by design. ::slight_smile:

Does ITunes state why it crashes as 2014 and ITunes both exist together quite happily on my system
