So disappointed about this product!
If so many people facing this issue there is no reason for me to keep trying constantly to fix it.
Instead, I’m about to remove avast from all of my (6) computers.

Sorry to jump in on this thread, but I’m having the same problem that Lateral was having… firewall is off and I can’t get it started ~ not even when I turn off the Windows firewall.
He said he ran an Avast “repair”. What does that mean? Reinstall, or something else?
