jadranka.exe worm

Does avast detect / protect against the worm that has files like jadranka.exe.

I saw this referenced in a batch file that was on a microSD card. TrendMicro had a webpage that said this is worm found on flash drives… and that it was usually a low threat.

I am worried the microSD card may have infected my laptop running Win7. I am scanning with avast right now but am not sure if this is a worm avast has a definition for (probably but I could find no mention of jadranka.exe on the forum)

Hi,

This worm can hide your folders on the card and replace them with malicious files.
Malicious file is in the form of a folder.

Follow this guide:

Download and run OTL and attach here OTL.txt
Download and run aswMBR and attach here aswMBR.txt

yes avast protect against all types of malicious code…
but new versions are created every day, and no security program have 100% detection

anyway avast detect this as Palevo
