Java App can't connect when Avast Premier is ON

Hi guys I’m new in this forum and I’m sorry if my english is bad!

I’m trying to mine with the Bitminter miner program (based on Java) and I can’t start it with the avast shield (firewall) ON. I don’t know why! I just exclude “Java, javaw and javaws.exe”.
