Hi, welcome to the forums.
Please Help us to Help you In order to help fully we need more information…
- Is your OS up to date?
- Is the Java interface up to date?
- What avast! version and VPS file (virus database) number, e.g. 0436-4 (see about avast!)
- What error messages are displayed (content, etc.)
- What was the virus name, what was the filename, where was it found
example (C:\windows\system32\infected-filename.xxx)?
If you are getting a virus warning that you believe is a false positive, then if you can zip and password protect (‘virus’, will do) the suspect file and send it to virus @ avast.com (no spaces).
Give a brief outline of the problem, the fact that you believe it to be a false positive and include the password in the body of the email. Some info on the avast version and VPS number (see about avast {right click avast icon}) will also help.
You could also check the offending/suspect file at: Jotti - Multi engine on-line virus scanner www.virusscan.jotti.dhs.org if any other scanners here detect them it is less likely to be a false positive.

os-up to date
interface- up to date
avast 4.5:- Vps: Already up to date
(current version 0450-0)
when installing code warrior when it gets to sun VM 1.2 and 1.4 avast! scans them and thinks they are win32 trojans
Can you post the full exact names of the detected files, and the exact virus name, please?
