Hi. Avast Free checked my software and I had to update a new version of Java Runtime Environment 8 (32 bit).
I got 64 bits Windows 8.1 aboard.
Q1) Do I really need this Java program?
Q2) Do I have to download and install a 64 bit version (does it exist).
Q3) How to proceed?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Kind regards, Herman

If you don’t need Java, I’d get completely rid of it.

Thanks Asyn and Pondus for your reples.
I got Java Update 45 AND 51 aboard.
How to uninstall them, via config screen or ccleaner?
Java is a security risk, right?
Best, Herman

Morning Asyn.
Obviously JavaRa needs Microsoft.net Framework to uninstall JRE.
Unfortunately this is NOT installed on my pc. Any download link?
How to unstall both Java 45 and 51?
Can config screen do the job?
I do look forward hearing from you, thanks.
Best, Herman

OK, remove it via control panel and CCleaner then.

No need to find it, JRE (Java Runtime Environment) is Java.

Hi Asyn.
I assume that I have to download NS Net Framework offline version, right?
(in order to delete Java JRE with singularlabs)
Kind regards, Hermie

No need to download .NET, as you already uninstalled Java, you are good to go.
