i was mainly asking how to fix this, not so much as report it

That is how you fix a False Positive detection … you tell avast lab about it so they can fix (adjust detection signature)

it was all fine the other day but when i booted my pc up today, avast started to block java through the fire wall, i got no message or anything,

Erm, how do you know it’s blocked by Avast then…?
Runey5
7
simple, i go into protection >> firewall then where it says “apps recently managed by your firewall” and shows it was “blocked”

turns out, Avast was changing my network from private to public causing it to block them
