Joining the queue, another getusaaall malware alert.

I’ve seen that I’m not alone in being pestered by this…

"Object: hxtp://getusaaall.info/e=pcho&cht=2&dcu=1&cpatch...... Infection:Mal Process: C:Windows\System32\svchost.exe"

…issue. I’ve run Malwarebyte Anti-Malware, Farbar and aswMBR, I’m including the logs as soon as I figure out how to attach them. Hope I’ve not missed anything, or run anything I shouldn’t have. Any possible help would be appreciated, seems like I’m just one of many being affected by this right now.

Clear Cache/Temp Files
Download TFC by OldTimer to your desktop

[*] Please double-click TFC.exe to run it. (Note: If you are running on Vista, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator).
[*]It will close all programs when run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin.
[*]Click the Start button to begin the process. Depending on how often you clean temp files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two. Let it run uninterrupted to completion.
[*]Once it’s finished it should reboot your machine. If it does not, please manually reboot the machine yourself to ensure a complete clean.

Notes:

  3. If after the reboot you get errors about programmes being marked for deletion then reboot, that will cure it.

Please make sure you include the combo fix log in your next reply as well as describe how your computer is running now

Here’s the log. Will let you know if/when Avast blocks it again.

----EDIT 1—
2 hours later, no notifications so far. Made sure Avast is running, been keeping myself out of any full-screen game that could maybe mute if a notification pops up. It usually notifies me once every… between 15 and 30 minutes I think. Looks promising so far, let’s hope I’m not jinxing it.
crosses fingers

Keep monitoring until tomorrow and if you are happy let me know and I will tidy up

It’s been nearly over 24 hours with no issues, I think I’m home safe. Why I’m using a baseball term when I dislike the sport, I don’t know, but oh well :stuck_out_tongue:

In that case methinks I will send you on your merry way

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean

A good workman always cleans up after himself so…The following will implement some cleanup procedures as well as reset System Restore points:

: Keep Java Updated :

WARNING: Java is the #1 exploited program at this time. The Department of Homeland Security recommends that computer users disable Java
See this article

I would recommend that you completely uninstall Java unless you need it to run an important software.
In that instance I would recommend that you disable Java in your browsers until you need it for that software and then enable it. (See How to diasble Java in your web browser and How to unplug Java from the browser)

Now that you are clean, to help protect your computer in the future I recommend that you get the following free programmes:

CryptoPrevent install this programme to lock down and prevent crypto ransome ware

Malwarebytes.

Update and run weekly to keep your system clean

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system and to keep them updated.

Done and done. Figured I owed you a big hug, a appreciative shoulder-grab or a suave fist-bump of your choice, so you can have whichever you prefer. ;D

In other words, thank you very much. Hope I’ll never (have too) see you again

My pleasure

i suffered same problem and i just implemented “Malwarebytes”
and it cleared this issue very nicely and easily.

If Malwarebytes clears it why are so many posting here ? As one of the first steps we request is a MBAM run ?
