I have had this infection for several days.

I updated and ran Malwarebyte which found and I thought remove the infection. Cleared all the Java applications and data, and trace info (per instruction from a google search)
I then followed the sticky directions at the top of the forum.
I also ran full scans from Malwarebytes a second time, along with a very long boot scan using Avast

But after downloading and running OLT I got an error/virus warning trying to access the “panda anti virus site”.

I have attached the OLT logs.

I’m being bugged to renew Avast but quite frankly if I can’t get this removed I don’t see the point of paying for the pro level software.

you have this antiphising toolbar from visicom http://software.visicommedia.com/en/products/antiphishing/ this is powered by Panda and the problem is they dont encrypt there signatures so that is whats detected

run AdwCleaner…click delete…reboot and post log, is the problem gone ?

I actually just had the exact same thing on my computer Follow pondus’s instructions and you should be golden [:
