Avast does not need to detect it, because you update your OS and Browser regulary or do not use Javascript at all, do you?

I do not know if Avast detecs it or not, but i think it is difficult to identify exploite and they are harmless, if you make updates regulary.

hi,
browse through the dozens of pages here:
http://www.virusbtn.com/resources/vgrep/vgrep.cgi?terms=JS.Exception.Exploit&product=11

avast/AlWIL detects some, not all versions of it

I installed IE6SP1 with some patchs, Are they enough? ???
Does disabling JS affect web surfing? ???

Yes,for that Exploit!

It is allwaya recommanded to visit www.windowsupdate.com from time to time.

thanx guys
