JS:Redirector-BXI - Unable to remove

Hi Everyone

Everytime I open a Firefox/IE/Chrome AVAST informs me that it has blocked JS:Redirector-BXI from running.

But when I scan the computer using AVAST to remove this infection it says 'No threat found"

Could somebody please help me to get red of this?

Thanks

Attach your basic diagnostic logs. (MBAM, FRST and aswMBR)

Hi,

Attaching logs as required

Thank you

OK, now you’ve to wait a bit…

Edit: Addition.txt from FRST is missing.

Sorry, I missed that part.

Attaching now.

Norton is still running on your system so you will need to uninstall it and then use the removal tool https://support.norton.com/sp/en/uk/home/current/solutions/v60392881_EndUserProfile_en_us

CAUTION : This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

CreateRestorePoint: AlternateDataStreams: C:\Users\Kanav New\Desktop\SthExtFloorPlan.jpeg:3or4kl4x13tuuug3Byamue2s4b AlternateDataStreams: C:\Users\Kanav New\Desktop\SthExtFloorPlan.jpeg:{4c8cc155-6c1e-11d1-8e41-00c04fb9386d} RemoveProxy: EmptyTemp: CMD: bitsadmin /reset /allusers

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73555776/FRSTfix.JPG

Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that

THEN

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.

[*]Close all open programs and internet browsers.
[*]Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
[*]Click on Scan.
[*]After the scan is complete click on “Clean”
[*]Confirm each time with Ok.
[*]Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
[*]Please post the content of that logfile with your next answer.
[*]You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S0].txt as well.

Hi, Thanks a lot for your reply!

Did everything you said.

Attaching logs.

UPDATE: the warning does not appear anymore , so I am assuming that the problem is now fixed!

However mozilla seems to be lagging a little bit now!

Thanks again you good man

Should not have affected that as all I did was empty your temporary files
