JS script XE in my firefox

Trojan sent to quarantine -have avast security suite 7

Got told to post logs?

Hi - nothing apparent in the logs. Are you experiencing any problems ?

firefox keep not responding and mouse moves on its own

Could you try IE and see if you have the same problem

still the same mate

ran my rootkit check and it said 2 suspicious files?

If that is from TDSSKiller then it is just noting that the files are unsigned

Download and Install Combofix

Download ComboFix from one of the following locations:
Link 1
Link 2

VERY IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop

  • IMPORTANT - Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools. If you have difficulty properly disabling your protective programs, refer to this link here

[*]Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.

[*]When finished, it shall produce a log for you.
[*]Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.

Notes:

  1. Do not mouse-click Combofix’s window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.
  2. Do not “re-run” Combofix. If you have a problem, reply back for further instructions.
  3. If after the reboot you get errors about programmes being marked for deletion then reboot, that will cure it.

Please make sure you include the combo fix log in your next reply as well as describe how your computer is running now

firefox keep not responding and mouse moves on its own
is this a wireless mouse? if so....how is the battery?

not a wireless mouse

I notice richvideo is in the log

That is running as a part of cyberlink… You will need to uninstall then re-install cyberlink to remove it as it is working as a shared file

Also could you run Firefox in safe mode with all addons disabled

do I need to reinstall cyberlink or is it okay?

am running in safemode

Yes you will need to uninstall as it has become a shared programme and that needs to be removed cleanly

done that mate was I right to delete the leftover registry files?, anything else?

Have the alerts now ceased ?

Do you need the cyberlink programme ?

If I run tdskiller and click on digital files the cyberlink program has gone but the alert about unsigned file;switchboard is still there? (suspicious object medium risk)
multi.generic

dont need cyberlink no mate

The unsigned generic files are of no real import

no more alerts ?

no mate the only threat is from the unsigned generic files

I would highly recommend that you update to SP3

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean
