JS:ScriptSH-inf [Trj]

Hi

My computer has recently been slowing down and doing some weird things like disabling the auto windows update proces.
So I ran Avast Full scan and got this message:

Proces 2736 [Teatimer.exe], Memory, high - Threat JS:ScriptSH-inf [Trj]

It was not possible to do anything. When I tried to repair or delete or move to chest, the option USE just wasn’t functioning (didn’t highlight) and couldn’t be clicked.

What can I do about this, and there may be more wrong since it just takes FOREVER to get the comp up and running.

Any help will be much appreciated

1. You can ignore it, it’s a detection in memory.
2. I would drop Spybot…!!

Is there anything, to your knowledge, that I could/should do about the slowness in the startup proces and the occationally halting of the comp?
and the disabling of auto windows update etc. ??

I was told that Spybot was a good and reliable program, but I will uninstall it if you really think I should
But can or should I replace it with anything else?

Fujitsu LIFEBBOK N Series laptop
Processor: Intel(R) Core™ i3 CPU M 330 @ 2.13GHz 2.13GHz
RAM: 4 GB Running Windows 7 - 64-bit

1. You’re welcome.
2. First, let’s see if it’s faster after removing SB, we can continue from there, if needed.
3. I suggest to use free MBAM.

hey spybot and avast have had a history of conflict with each other but think they have solved that. Plus spybot can’t keep up with the malware out there today as good as malwarebytes can . so that’s a better option then spybot.

I’m going to uninstall SpyBot now and install mbam Hope that it works hehe, I’m sure it will after your help and advise
