Just curious about the "Restore" option from the chest

What exactly is the point of that option,why does it work that way?
For long as I can remember,that option is restoring the file to the original location but also still stays in the chest(makes a copy of it and restore it into the original location)

Why coping the file to the original location and keep the original in the chest?

For security reasons if the file can’t be restored, if something happen, you’ll always have it into Chest also…
