I tried to install outpost firewall pro is notified me that is incompatible with avira premium and if I continuing will it be a problems?
another question is that does avast version 5.0 compatible with outpost firewall pro?

I can only speak about avast 4.8 and Outpost Firewall Pro and that is fine. When installed OP may well say it is disabling its anti-spyware module for compatibility as avast has anti-spyware functionality built in.
That is about it and I somehow doubt this will be any different in avast 5, for the short time I used the early avast 5 beta I had no issues related to Outpost Firewall Pro.
I like Outpost because of two ways firewall, and avira is the best in detection rate that’s why like about it. I don’t like xp firewall, is suck so bad, i’m just consider this combination but just after installation is said not compatible just worry about this issue.
The XP Firewall, if it were a firedoor, it would fail safety tests as it only protects from fire on one side ;D
The detection differences aren’t that great between avast and avira; avast 5.0 may well change that anyway (avast also has more protection functions than avira), but avast has been fine for me for almost 6 years.
