It seems that my Avast has been stuck into a previous account and it won’t let me do anything-I need to talk with tech support and keep getting a run-around-need help desperately ASAP
I have my Email verifying payment, but the activation code displays a security issue and also shows my old activation–I can’t find a new account number or activation number or licence number–anywhere on these Emails.
Did all this except uninstalling Avast itself–do I need to uninstall all my protection? It will not let me verify my new registration as the verify code keeps rejecting multiple times
How can I talk to a technician to help out?
Sorry for my confusion, but I am 83 and have to do things in a precise manner–baby steps to be exact.
I downloaded all three from your links, now as I understand it I should run the first 2, then reboot? Or run all three and then reboot?? And I am so grateful for this help!!

I still need to insert a license number and or an activation number into my avast software, because it just says the my subscription will expire on 6/23–why can’t I just have the license number? Because the one sent to me in my Email was for the old version which still comes up all the time.
Have been back and forth on the support group–still cannot resolve this issue–is there no end to this mess for me? Just received this last reply from them!!!
