This to me is one of the best elements of Avast - with this I never need to schedule a scan

Unfortunately for me, I never use a screen saver as I would rather have my monitor power down after 5 minutes inactivity.

But it is certainly a welcome addition to know where you are in the scan.

One other thing there is another one where you have a scheduled scan setup, but you don’t have the settings setup to wake from sleep you also get a similar pop-up showing you have a scheduled scan waiting to start.

I guess but I just ran a scheduled scan hoping there would be a drop down icon for that. It was sort of promised way back in the original beta days but not yet.

My scheduled scan is only for 20:00 on Friday but it goes thru the screen saver scan when available. I’ve had 5.x since January and it has never found anything but I consider myself lucky.
