I just renewed my avast account. An IT friend purchased the account awhile back. I’ve been getting messages from CyberDefender Internet Security that I have a few viruses on my PC. Should I purchase that antivirus or is AVAST sufficient enough.
My question is why buy another anti virus if you have Avast!..
More than 1 anti virus can cause major problem… Like BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death)
PS : Also his name seem to a rogue to me… I think you should wait for further reply…

Scam/scumware alert.
How would a program that you haven’t installed be able to tell you your system is infected; answer it can’t.
How can a program tell you your system is infected if it hasn’t run a scan; answer it can’t.
How can it run a scan without your permission; you’re getting the idea, it can’t.
Presumable a) you didn’t install this, b) it didn’t run a scan as c) you didn’t run or give permission for a scan ?
So this is a rogue, delivering fake security alerts.
If you haven’t already got this software (freeware), download, install, update and run it and report the findings (it should product a log file).

- MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, On-Demand only in free version http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/malwarebytes/mbam-setup.exe, right click on the link and select Save As or Save File (As depending on your browser), save it to a location where you can find it easily later. - 2. SUPERantispyware On-Demand only in free version.
Don’t worry about reported tracking cookies they are a minor issue and not one of security, allow SAS to deal with them though. - See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_cookie.
The first of these tools is particularly good at finding these rogues.
Ya CyberDefender that a strange name for a suite… So i recommand next time to do what i say… “You already got a anti virus” So why you should need another one ?
