Just upgraded to Flock 2.0b1 and testing it...

Hi Flock users,

Just downloaded the test version of the Flock browser with all the goodies of Fx 3.0 inside: Flock 2.0b1,
Nightly Tester Tools inside, installed add-ons:

Adblock Filterset.G Updater 0.3.1.3
Adblock Plus 0.7.5.5
BetterPrivacy 1.151
Dr.Web anti-virus link checker 1.0.15 enforced
Finjan Secure Browsing 1.313
Nightly Tester Tools 2.0.2
NoScript 1.7
Nuke Anything Enhanced 0.68.1
ViewSourceWith 0.2
Web Developer 1.1.6

I’ve read this mess the Adblock Plus installation and reduce the update performance of it.
I’ve read a lot of recommendations to NOT use Adblock Filterset.G Updater.

I find ABP with the combo recommended by ABP is more effective than Filterset G was.

Hi Tech and alanrf,

There is more to this question, read here:

Who is counting the shots where Fx is concerned, right it is Google. That is why it should have been unwise for the Fx developers to bring in ABP and CustomizeGoogle into Fx, and a reason why CustomizeGoogle extension can crash Fx 3.0 under certain circumstances, also a reason why ABP does a poor job on Google ads, etc.
The main flaw in Filteset.G.updater is that it could be circumvented, but the same is true for ABP’s developer’s Easylist, the loyalty to the main sponsor is something that is playing in the background as well.
For Flock Yahoo is a main influence on that browser development.
So look at what bed-partners you find, and you find a give-away for an explanation towards some critical notes,
By the way neither in Flock (where Filterset.G support came in later) nor in Fx I had any question having these two extensions next to each other,

Yahoo is just as interested in making money as Google. They just aren't quite as smart..... ;D ;D
