Kaspersky free scanner. infected or false positive??

I decided just for fun to try the free virus scan from kaspersky, downloaded from here
http://www.kaspersky.com/virus-scanner
I installed it, decided not to scan with it… and instead did a full scan with avast(not because I think I’m infected just haven’t scanned in very long)
And it found something called (kavbase_00000000 in C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\KSS2\DataRoot\Bases\Cache
the infection is called Win32:FakeAV-EKA [Trj]
Is this a false positive or should I be worried?

oh ok, ty for reply. I thought it would be ok since it’s just the scanner. So I guess I got nothing to worry about?

Can I have a confirmation this is not a real trojan please? if it isn’t that is

it is not infected…
it is not uncommon for security tools to detect in other tools as they have virus like behavior and are full of virus signatures. and same if you install multiple AV

try upload that tool and test it at www.virustotal.com. dont be surprised if you see multiple detections
post link to scan result here

File too large to upload to virustotal.com
But thank you, just wanted confirmation, a bit paranoid after reading about ZeuS : p.

how big is the file? www.metascan-online.com. can take 80mb

96 MB

OK… night.
