Kaspersky uninstalled but avast still sees it

I’m a new avast user and installed avast 4.6 after uninstalling Kaspersky. I installed and uninstalled and did only a restart after both, which is probably the cause.
Now after a restart of my pc avast tells me Kasperky is still active. Most of avast seems to be active after this, but not in the log I foud the following message:
4-4-2005 15:54:28 SYSTEM 1288 AAVM - initialization error: Instant Messaging provider: cannot start because ‘Kaspersky Anti-Virus’ is active!, 00000000.
4-4-2005 15:54:28 SYSTEM 1288 AAVM - initialization error: P2P provider: cannot start because ‘Kaspersky Anti-Virus’ is active!, 00000000.
4-4-2005 15:54:28 SYSTEM 1288 AAVM - initialization error: Standard Shield provider: cannot start because ‘Kaspersky Anti-Virus’ is active!, 00000000.
Can anybody help me with this one?

O, I forgot: the windows xp sp2 security centre says no antivirus is active, but I believe avast is active, except for the error messages in my previous post.

Find “Kaspersky” keys in registry & delete the keys. I hope you’re sure KAV was uninstalled and no its service is running.

Thanks everybody. Kaspersky AntiHacker (firewall) was causing the problem, although it is not an antivirus. After uninstalling this avast worked ok.
