I am using Avast 5.03.396. I also run Avira AnVir Personal, at the same time, with no problem save one. I keep getting this message ever so often from Avira concerning Avast5:
Virus or unwanted program ‘TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen [trojan]’
detected in file 'C:\WINDOWS\Temp_avast5_\unp120942777.tmp.
Action performed: Deny access

You definitely need to dispose of one of those two Anti-viruses. But which one is your decision.
