Just started KeePass 2.23 portable on Windows 7 x64, and Avast immediately marks it as suspicious. It is not suspicious at all. It’s suspicious that Avast doesn’t know about KeePass in fact.
What’s more, the secure desktop that KeePass runs on, get’s frakked up while running in Avast’s sandbox thing. Empty screen with only my wallpaper. Nice going, lads. Please fix that, too.
Also I THINK I disabled on-demand scanning, so why is it enabled exactly??
The best password manager is still the human brain.
Since KeePass is open source, every programmer can look at the source and find flaws in it and may abuse them.

Define "secure desktop"
Avast immediately marks it as suspicious
What version of Avast and what vps version?
What is the exact message Avast is giving you?
What provider is giving the message?
Also I THINK I disabled on-demand scanning, so why is it enabled exactly??
Why it is enabled? To protect your system ofcourse!
And you THINK you have disabled it? You either have or have not. What is it?
Wake up and smell the coffee Eddy. Using a password manager such as Keepass or Lastpass is a very secure means of avoiding things such as keyloggers. Been using Lastpass for at least 5 years now.
