I seem to be the only one thats reported this so far.
its to do with the latest update and only way i can stop it logging everything out is untick cookies (pics posted on this link) https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=327343.0
I’ve just posted a very similar message. It’s driving me mad. Avast is also causing display issues on some other sites, including PayPal. Currently, my only option is to turn off virus protection, which clearly is not a satisfactory solution.

Once the logs are generated, please send me the “File ID” of your logs.

Hi again, can you please check if your browser isn’t blocked in Avast menu “Blocked & Allowed apps”? To access this menu, open Avast and go to - Menu - Settings - General - Blocked & Allowed apps.
If you find a browser’s exe in the list of blocked apps, please remove it from the list.

strangely enough there is Firefox in the list as well as edge (which i dont use much) but chrome is not in there and all 3 brousers logged out of everything after the update.
I will remove now.
should i then tick the cookie box again and see if it logs me out?
hey presto, thats it. not logged out anymore.
now why would firefox of been added to the blocked list. i know for sure i didnt add it myself.
opening the blocked app it shows as only the Brouser data protection is ticked.

I will now keep the cookie box ticked and report back if after a reboot we are still all ok.
