I want my keylogger to be exempt from scanning, I have included every address I can imagine in the exclusions setting for my keylogger and it keeps deleting it… i have paid for my keylogger, I want it. even when I click on the “x” instead of any button in the virus warning it still deletes it, and i have to reinstall tha keylogger… I was reviewing this product for upgrade to pro, but if I cant control it, what good is it?
There are in fact two exclusion lists: one in program settings, for the on-demand scanning.
And other in Standard Shield settings, for the on-access protection (residents).
Second, it’s necessary to put the complete mask to the exclusions, i.e. something like
c:\program files\perfect keylogger lite*
or simply
*\bsdhooks.dll
I’d rather suggest the later, because of potential problems with long file names in the first case.
wow…that was quick… soon after i posted I searched the forums for “keylogger” and found an answer… also I found that a lot of people think others use keyloggers for evil things, I owe no explanation to anyone, but I think I will: My computer… how’s that?
thank you very much for the quick response… I will definatelly consider switching to the pro edition… specially because of the quick response I got, and because it was the only antivirus which detected and cleande the only virus good enough to enter my computer… (I thought my pc was impenetrable) uninstalled zonealarm security suite, tried avg, mcaffee, bitdefender (none of which detected anything)… I’m liking Avast the best… thank you.
In fact, this is the average speed of avast forums ;D

You won’t regret and will help to keep developing and the Home version free 8)
In fact, no other antivirus has this kind of support. You can wait centuries to receive answers is some of them…
Just remember that avast is only an antivirus. You still need a firewall and an anstispyware won’t harm either
