As a relative newcomer to all things technical, could someone please advise how to stop AVAST Home Edition from detecting a trojan in my Keylogger program. I know that all keyloggers have a type of trojan, but I need to st0p the detection in this instance. Thanks for your help.
Put it on the exclusions list using wild cards “?” or “*”.
What keylogger are you using?
Thank you, I am using “All in One Keylogger” from Relytec.
Could you please explain how to use “exclusions” in Avast?
Thanks for your time, really appreciate it.
Add it to the exclusions lists:
Open the On-Access Protection select the Standard Shield, Customize, Advanced, Add and
Program Settings, Exclusions (right click the avast ’ a ’ icon)
Enter the full path and file name to the executable that avast is alerting on (you can copy and paste the path from the avast alert window).
Just don’t use it for illegal activities!
