Kudos to avast 6.0.1000

I would have normally waited at least a day or two … or a week before updating to see if any reports of glitches materialized on the Forum. But, I was at the end of my patience with 5.1.889’s USB problems. So, I decided I was going to risk it, throw the dice and Let’R Rip! I updated to 6.0.1000 via the GUI. It took 44 minutes on my Dial Up, but went smooth and free of any glitches.

I am excited to say that the USB problems that existed on 5.1.889 are now GONE. :slight_smile:
The Flash Drive Safe Removal function worked great.
And once navigating in and especially WRITING onto my Flash Drive, the functionality did NOT bog down and get sluggish like it did with 5.1.889. With 6.0.1000 the Flash Drive activity was now Kick Ass! YES!

NOW … the question:
Where IS that WebRep Button? I can’t see it anywhere?
Is it supposed to be somewhere when you first bring up the Google Hits?
Or is it supposed to be somewhere once a site has been brought up on screen?
I am using Opera Browser.

Ohhh, so then the WebRep function works only with IE and Firefox at this time?
It’s No Biggie then.
I didn’t have it before, so I can’t miss it.

All systems normal and functioning with new Avast 6…I’m very pleased so far…

It’s in the “Additional Protection”. From there it should be simple and easy. And all avast versions have it.
