The submission would be recorded in the setup.log as it is a part of the modified update process. This of course depends on when they were sent, if the new submission process was working at that time.
See image example of how it would be recorder, obviously I haven’t uploaded any files recently so the figures show zero files uploaded.
You could submit them again, you can select them all together to be sent/uploaded.
'The only lines with “packages” in the log say nothing…
Besides, the log is very very huge just to find this basic information. It’s a disrespect with the user that send samples and try to help improving detection. They could make things easier.
But nothing of this is regard with the original problem: possible lack of detection and very lazy virus database updates.
The log is big, but searching on submit: may be a better option. You are also searching on ‘packages’ (plural) and none of the lines in my log relating to submission have the word packages in the line (package, yes), so that may be why you aren’t finding anything.
Again it does depend on when you actually sent them as this particular module for submission was only relatively recently fully functional. So there is a possibility that the files submitted ended up in a black hole as at one point the server wasn’t accepting or expecting them. Which is why I would suggest sending them again.
