Lack of detection of a trojan dropper

Can’t send the file for analysis.
My email provider blocks the sending of .exe files (even zipped).
avast5 does not allow adding files to Chest (to further submit them for analysis).
Maybe ftp… I’ll try.

Same for me, GMail blocked .exe and .zip, had to use hotmail when I submitted files…::slight_smile:

No. I’m not surprised about the infection. I’m surprised about the lack of avast! detection :wink:

You know that no product is 100%… there will be one every now and then…:wink:

I’m am really sad that avast didn’t catch that Trojan but no anti-virus is 100% anyway.Still, keep up the good work AVAST team.

GMail blocks ZIP files that contain executables. It doesn’t matter if it’s encrypted or not. Use 7z or RAR. Or if you want password encryption that includes file name encryption. This way the sample will arrive to virus lab for sure.
