Sorry for the delay

Download the attached fix.txt to your USB
Run OTLPE
Click the run fix button
OTLPE will ask for the location of fix.txt
Navigate to the USB drive and select it
Press run fix again

Now reboot to normal windows

If that should fail
Then there is an additional fixlist.txt for FRST
But I will keep that in reserve to save confusion

Hi essexboy

Whenever I choose the location of the USB in OTLPE, a RunScanner Error pops up “Target is not Windows 2000 or later”

I used 2 different USBs and the same thing happened.

When you start OTL does it ask for the windows location ? If it does then point it to the windows directory and retry
