i use win2000 prof. and avast! 4. i noticed that my memory (128MB) is full and that avast! takes more than 20 MB, why??? :-\
Ehm, there is a number of threads about avast memory usage on this forum. Try making a search with the keyword memory or something…
To make long story short, avast takes about 13 megs…
I don’t you should have a serious problem with 128MB RAM. This is what virtual memory was invented for - everything doesn’t have to be always resident in physical memory…
