last avast update prevents outlook from getting email

alright so i updated avast recently and now outlook wont sync emails if i disable all shields it works, however when i try to systematically turn off shields int he order Firewall,mail shield, network shield, web shield, p2p,IM,file,spam. yet it still does not work the only way to fix it is to entirely disable avast…any ideas on how to fix this?

I have the same problem. My workaround, disable the email-shield. Any real solution on this issue?

do you have a firewall ?

if you have a firewall other then windows…try deleting all avast rules and reboot

then create new rules

I don’t have any rules end my Firewall is not in the computer.

there is not firewall no and nothing has changed since it was working other then me updating avast and like i said disabling individual shields did nothing only disabling avast as a whole fixes it
