latest avast free with emet 4.1 - compatibility isses?

hi - i’m running the latest avast free version and have used emet 4.1 to change the following system wide settings

DEP - always on (default is windows OS files only)
SEHOP - opt out (default is disabled on windows 7)
ASLR - default

i haven’t added any additional mitigations for avast as i’ve read this is not recommended for AV or firewalls

any potential compatibility issues to watch out for with the changes i’ve made? i haven’t noticed anything, but i’m wondering if i should set DEP to “opt out” and disable DEP and SEHOP for avast.

thanks.

They should work together without problems as far as I know.
avast has it’s own protection and there should be no need to use emet for avast.

ps:
emet version 5 is the latest.

great - thanks for the feedback.

emet 5 does not work well on windows 7 64 bit - EAF, stack pivot, caller need to be disabled for most apps to work. While these mitigations all work fine with emet 4.1. hopefully this is resolved before 4.1 gets dropped next year.
