I’m a part of a developer team, which creates invoicing software to people. With the latest avast update, our software stopped everywhere, due to the fact, that it removes one of its .dll file. Is is possible to receive some feedback, what we should modify, in order to fix this problem? I’m happy to upload the file, if it is necessary. All I’m looking for is some guidance, to see, where the problem is.
Why should the people from avast install a download manager in order to get the file?
Just submit it to virus@avast.com in a password protected file.
Mention in the mail the password (ofcourse), a link to this thread and why you believe it is a false positive.
They dont need to do anything. If they want to restore the file open the interface and go to the maintenance tab and then to virus chest, then right click the file and choose restore. File will be restored at the original place.
