I’ve just updated my anti virus via the popup which appeared and since then I now get the following error message.
‘Failed to load language dll [1033\UILangRes.dll]’
Any idea’s ? I’ve re-downloaded from the main site but the error message is still present.

try avast repair…
controlpanel > ad/remove programs > avast > uninstall/change > repair option …wait a minute and reboot
Running Win 7 Pro here, so only change/uninstall. Will go uninstall and re-download.

when you click uninstall/change you will see several new options on next popup box … like repair

Yesterday after being informed by pop up I used the latest update Avast 2015 on my PC running Windows 7 and shortly after the PC froze with a “blue screen” error.
I opened it up it “safe mode” and Windows performed a repair.
I rebooted and since then all has been OK!
This morning I received a call from a colleague who is running Vista.
He had just upgraded to Avast 2015 and had also got the “blue screen” error.
I told him what I had done and so far no call back.
This is not good Avast I suggest you look into this or your reputation will suffer >:(
