I updated to the 6.0.1000 version today. I downloaded a game from Shockwave and when I went to install it I got a pop up that I was accessing something that could be harmful to my computer and recommendation for me to open it in Sandbox. I never got this pop up with the previous version. I ok’d that and after it was done there was no shortcut on my desktop like normal. I went to C/Program Files/Shockwave and found the game but when I opened there was no item to send shortcut to desktop like normal. What happened to the exe file?

Can anyone help me please?

That was the new avast AutoSandbox alert. You placed it in the virtual environment of the Sandbox, so the file wasn’t saved to your PC.

OK - thank you. I guess I won’t want my games to open in Sandbox then because I don’t actually play them at the game site. I install the ones I like and play them from my desktop.
