Is anyone surprised, I’m certainly not. Don’t download from unofficial or untrusted sources (only Official/trusted source is MS with this one) or you are highly to get unwelcome gifts.

considering you can get the correct SHA1 hashes from technet and MSDN
i always wonder why people dowload these files which got different hash :slight_smile:

so in ethen it really don’t matter from where you download as long as the hashes match original 8)

anyway in todays world of targeted attacks it’s really not surprising that badware authors use this chance

I think that many don’t even go to technet and MSDN, much less make note of the SHA1 hashes, some won’t even have a clue what is meant by the purpose of the hash #s.
