Leave your suggestion for AVAST

This thread is for leaving suggestions of any kind, whether for improvements to the antivirus or the Avast UI.

My suggestion is that Avast add a splash screen to Avast.

The Avast Geek app should be in the user’s native language. Currently, it’s only in English, which would be a good suggestion for the Avast team to modify.

Hello, what I would like is for this ugly orange Avast icon to be changed and replaced with something more modern and eye-catching, something like a shield, or for there to be an option to modify this icon like Kaspersky does in its product.

Why does it have to be eye catching and the Icon is synonymous with Avast stylised big A and the colour also.

If you don’t like it why not move it into the Hidden Icons section of the Taskbar.

Hello, my intention is not to remove it, but rather to suggest a better version, since the one that’s there is, in my opinion, very ugly.

I know how to hide it, but this topic is for the public to suggest improvements to Avast, both in terms of configuration and antivirus enhancements, as well as the graphical interface.

In case you hadn’t noticed there is a Shield already in my image and that is bloody Windows Security, which looks as ugly as sin. I use Firefox and even that has a Shield on the left of the URLs.
The problem with product branding, you can’t go changing it every few months and you can’t please everyone all of the time..

Just look at this community and all of the Avast web pages.

Problems that I see many people mention here on the forum that could be improved, let’s go.

1 - Many users complain about persistent pop-ups and upgrade offers, even when they already have the paid version. This disrupts the experience.

2 - Some report that the antivirus consumes too many resources or slows down the system — on weaker or older PCs, this can be a problem, especially after updates.

3 - Some claim that, despite being installed, Avast failed to detect adware or unwanted programs installed stealthily, which compromises its security reputation.

4 - Complaints about fake alerts or legitimate websites marked as dangerous also appear — this can disrupt normal browsing.

5 - In paid versions, many users still feel “bombarded” with offers for other products, or claim that the good performance existed in the free version and the paid version is not worth it.

Hello, here’s another suggestion for Avast.

I would like the Avast team to implement this so that when you right-click on a file, it has the same effect as this image, like Kaspersky does.

It would be very important for our Avast users to have this information in detail.
Below is an image showing how Kaspersky does it.

Please, Avast, do the same.

If the file is trustworthy, show details of how many users worldwide use the program.
